Learn more about the arts and artisans of culturally-rich India with renowned anthropologist and expert Stephen Inglis.

 

Inglis teaches Asian Art at Carleton University and was a director with the Canadian Museum of Civilization for more than two decades. After spending years in India on research projects and expeditions, he has a unique insight into the heritage, culture, and modern practice of Indian art. His presentation will overview his upcoming study tour to Southern India, immersing participants in the colourful world of this exotic country. Attendees will explore ancient palaces, thousand-year-old temples, some of the finest bronze collections on earth, and much more through a stunning photo display.
